On Monday, July 8, 2019, Mrs. Jean Hostler of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 89 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Jack Hostler and daughter Vanessa Rechlo.

Jean will be fondly remembered by her loving family including daughter Alyson Jane Thorpe (Dave), sons Ian William Hostler (Shelley) and Alexander James Hostler (Michelle); eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Jean worked for a local government in England before spending many years working in hospital administration in High Level, Alberta.

She enjoyed many trips to Australia and RV’ing in Canada and the USA.

Jean was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion and served on many committees with the Oliver branch and with the zone. She also volunteered her time fund raising with various organizations.
