With upcoming annual Easter celebrations looming, the government has granted the Easter Bunny essential service status.
Granting a special “Eggs-emption” on April 8, Premier John Horgan welcomed the Easter Bunny to the province for the essential service of “Spreading Eggs-ellent Cheer.”
“I know you’re also taking extra care, so even if you can’t make it to every home, I want to thank you for sharing your positive spirit and happiness with kids and families across the province,” Horgan declared.
You may not see the bunny out and about as usual, as the annual easter egg hunt in Osoyoos is cancelled. With the use of magical powers the Easter Bunny may not be seen. Medical authorities determined, as a non-human, the Easter Bunny cannot contract or spread COVID-19.
