It’s time to dust off those cowboy boots and bring out your best western gear for the second annual Hootenanny for Hospice at the Osoyoos Legion Hall on Saturday, March 14.
The event promises to be a “hootin’ and hollerin’” good time according to the Desert Valley Hospice Society, with dancing to live country and contemporary music by local band Rebel Luv, and hot dogs served up in the Valley. There’s a hot dog bar, dancing, silent and live auctions, 50/50 draws, a jail n’ bail booth and prizes for the best Western gear and get-ups.
Tickets are $20 and available at Polka Dot Door Floral Design in Osoyoos, the Osoyoos Legion Canteen and the Desert Valley Hospice Society’s office, Divine Ink Esthetic & Barbering and Oliver Shoes & Fashions on Main Street in Oliver or online at Eventbrite.
Get decked out on March 14 and come out for some down-home fun, listen to some great toe-tappin’ tunes, and dance the night away at the Hootenanny for Hospice at the Osoyoos Legion Hall. The shindig begins at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Desert Valley Hospice Society is a local registered charity and it is only through the generous support of our community members and businesses that we are able to deliver our 11 programs and services in the communities of Osoyoos, Oliver and Okanagan Falls. For more information about the society, programs, and the Hootenanny for Hospice, visit www. desertvalleyhospice.org. We hope our local communities will come out and support the Hootenanny for Hospice dance and fundraiser.
