Oliver is the only area in School District 53 that will host an election for school trustee on November 15.
Declared candidates for a four-year term are incumbent Rob Zandee, Cory-lee Mills, and Rachel Allenbrand. Trustee Tamela Edwards is not seeking re-election.
Two trustees from Oliver will be elected to the board. School trustee candidates will be part of the all-candidates forum on November 4 in Frank Venables Theatre at 7 pm.
Elected by acclamation in Osoyoos are Marieze Tarr and June Harrington. Trustee Sam Hancheroff in Okanagan Falls has been elected by acclamation, as were Debbie Marten and Myrna Coates in Keremeos.
