ALS in Oliver to receive golf marathon proceeds

Wendy Toyer of the ALS Society of BC, second from right, was in Oliver last week to accept the more than $12,000 which was raised during a recent golf marathon held at Fairview Mountain Golf Club. Fairview’s Wade Preston, far left, and Thierry Martine combined to play 234 holes. Also in the photo are Bill and Shirley Postnikoff, members at Fairview. Shirley lives with ALS, and was a big part of the golf marathon.
