There are good apples among the few bad

Dear Editor:

On July 26, I was delivering some items to Polka Dot Door, when I tripped on a very uneven sidewalk, fell flat onto said sidewalk, breaking most of the glass in the box.

Suddenly, from across the street, four young French Canadians arrived to help me up, they cleaned up the broken glass, as best they could, made sure I was OK, and went on their way.

I have lived here for 22 years. There have been many negative reports about these young people, and rightfully so, but there are also those that deserve a pat on their back, and a heartfelt thank you, for their kindness, in helping a senior citizen.

Just goes to show, there are good apples among the few bad.
