Oliver firefighters were up at 3 a.m. this morning battling a barn fire on Greasewood Avenue south of town.
Media relations officer Rob Graham said most of the structure was destroyed by the time they arrived.
“All we could do at that point is put water on it and get it all soaked and make sure it wasn’t going to burn any further.”
The fire was contained to the barn and some hay.
Graham said the cause is unknown.
