Dear Editor:
This is a letter to all of our dear friends of No Paws Left Behind Rescue in Oroville, Washington State.
Due to a disgruntled neighbour and a permit we did not know we needed, we are temporarily shut down for taking new dogs in to our shelter facility.
We have applied for the permit and have a hearing coming up to hopefully get everything cleared up, but letters of support are greatly appreciated.
We are still able to adopt the dogs we have out, but not able to take any in at the rescue facility at this time.
Last year we took in over 400 dogs and most of them we spayed or neutered, vaccinated, wormed and found loving homes for. Some are still with us as they are dogs that need a lot of love to help them overcome some baggage they came with.
We love what we do and hope to be able to continue on.
