Friday evening’s second Osoyoos Street Dance of the summer drew an enthusiastic crowd of youngsters and their parents and grandparents to this family event.
With a number of new songs, more intimate placement of bleachers and smoother set-up, Friday’s event appeared better organized than the previous dance in July.
The street dances have been a summer fixture in Osoyoos since Frances and Larry Sologuk, owners of Osoyoos Home Hardware, started them more than a quarter century ago. Last year they were taken over by the Osoyoos Seniors Centre, which ran this year’s dances.
