Dear Editor:
To leave or lower the speed limit along Lakeshore Drive is the big question. We seem to be going against the advice of the RCMP.
We have schools and playgrounds where 30 km/h is strictly enforced. On Lakeshore we have residents and some council members that find that speed too frustrating.
Besides pedestrians, there are cyclists on a narrow road with little or no shoulder. There are campgrounds on one side and the lake on the other. What does council think will happen? Kids want to play, and they are going to run across.
