Frank Venables Theatre donates to local flood relief efforts

The Frank Venables Theatre donated nearly $700 to Oliver Osoyoos Search and Rescue to assist with their local flood relief efforts.

The donation was made through a portion of tickets sales from The Ultimate Comedy Show, held on May 4.

Ten per cent of tickets sales were donated, as well as $1 per drink sold at the concession. In addition, a donation jar was put out which collected over $100.

“The theatre wishes to thank those who came for a fun night out and generously donated to the cause,” said Deb Martin, theatre manager.
