Special to the Times
The Osoyoos Secondary School golf team wrapped up an extremely successful season with a solid second place finish at the ‘A’ Provincial Golf Championships held at the Okanagan Golf Club Quail course.
The team started the year off strong, finishing first in all five local zone events held at Penticton, Summerland, Osoyoos, Twin Lakes and
Princeton.
Following that success, the team then went on to win the Zone Championships held at the Fairview Mountain Golf Club.

The team then travelled to Kelowna’s Sunset Ranch Golf Club where they won the Okanagan Valley Golf Championships for the first time in 10 years.
With a victory at the Valley Championships the team earned its berth in the ‘A’ Provincial Golf Championships.
The team played extremely hard over the two-day event and despite some strong play came up just short to defending champions and host team Aberdeen Hall Academy.
The team would like to thank the Osoyoos Golf Club and men’s club for their generous support in helping the team reach the Provincial Championships.
