The third annual Great Osoyoos Day of Adventure is open for registration.
The town-wide scavenger hunt takes place June 9.
Teams or couples will be sent out on a brand new route to answer historical questions, including modern history, in a scavenger hunt-style adventure put on by the Osoyoos and District Museum and Archives.
The event boasts $6,000 worth of prizes this year. The teams with the top three point totals will receive Home Hardware gift cards worth $350 for first place, $250 for second and $150 for third place.

Without giving too much away museum director Kara Burton said “this year people need to wear comfortable shoes.”
“It’s completely revamped this year, of course it’s different every year, but we will have the same basic format,” Burton said.
Teams race to solve clues, some involving history while past events have featured clues relying on quick counting skills to add up rows at a vineyard.
“People learn something, but it’s not all history-based. There is some current stuff in there,” Burton said. “There’s different challenges.”
Upon returning from the hunt, contestants will be treated to a barbecue, with libations on hand and raffle prizes will be given away while the scavenger hunt totals are tallied.
The event cost $25 dollars per person and to register talk to Burton at the museum or call 250-495-2582.
