Oliver Public Works is doing the best it can while trying to protect its workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Director of Operations Shawn Goodsell said their offices are closed but staff can be reached by email and telephone at [email protected] and 250-485-6213.
“We are trying to do as much regular work as we can. Some people are working from home but most of my department is still working but are mostly outside.”
Goodsell said they have precautions in place for workers. For example, many are using their own vehicles and splitting up so they don’t group together. In addition, they are washing their hands, using gloves and masks when necessary.
