Malcolm Scanlan, from White Rock, B.C., shows off his 1948 MG TC, which he drove to the Osoyoos Lawn Bowling Club last Thursday. Scanlan is a member of the Vancouver Pre-1956 UnClub, which celebrates this classic British sports car. They make an annual pilgrimage to Osoyoos each June. Scanlan’s clothing and accent give away his own British origins. He came to Canada in 1991 from Hampshire in the south of England. (Richard McGuire photo)
