The Desert Valley Hospice Society is an organization that provides services for people at the end of their lives — and for their families. It is largely driven by volunteers and it serves the communities of Osoyoos, Oliver and Okanagan Falls. Hike for Hospice is one of their main fundraising events. It takes place every year in Oliver, and for the second time in recent years, it is back in Osoyoos. Hikers walked at different distances along the Canal Walkway and adjoining trails.
