David Bradbury

June 16, 1943 – December 12, 2025

Dave Bradbury and Karen Hutchinson moved from Kamloops to Osoyoos in November 2002. Each had taken up golf as their retirement hobby while in Kamloops. It was the abundance of sun that attracted Dave to Osoyoos. He retired as a Detective from the VPD in 1996.

He leaves behind his best friend, Karen Hutchinson, his son Richard Mitchell (Stephanie Parent) of Vancouver, and Sooner.

He had so many hobbies during his work/retired life; marathons, numismatist, philatelist, golf, and ancestry. He loved history, ancient Greek and Roman. We moved 300,000 pennies (sorted by year) stored in coffee tins, at least 5 times. They weighed a lot!

Dave was such a good man, he could light up a room with his smile, friendliness and rapid speed wit. We had fun and many adventures together! His favourite place was Hoyochi Nikko, Maui, Hawaii. Please celebrate his life with your own memories of Dave, DD, Super Dave, etc.

Thank you Dr. De Vries and the amazing staff at SOGH.
