An additional bus service is being added on Route 40 Osoyoos/Oliver to Penticton ahead of the festive season.
BC Transit and the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen announced the additional morning service between Osoyoos/Oliver and Penticton starting Friday, November 28, 2025.
The extra service will run every Friday leading up to December 19, 2025 and will depart from Osoyoos at 8:29 a.m.
As with the regular Route 40 service stops will include: Osoyoos (Main and 89th St), Oliver (Fairview Rd. and Kootenay St. along with the hospital), Okanagan Falls (Post Office), Kaleden (Firehall – by request), Penticton (Peachtree Square and Cherry Lane).
Funding partners of the South Okanagan-Similkameen Transit System Route 40 include the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (Electoral Areas “A”, “C”, “D” and “I”), the Town of Osoyoos, and the Town of Oliver.
