In addition to holding its Board of Directors meetings around the region as part of its outreach efforts, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) has launched a “pop-up office” initiative to further connect with residents from across the far-flung region.

Pop-up offices will provide opportunities for senior staff to answer questions and get feedback on RDOS projects and services.

Five meetings are scheduled between September 15 and October 29, 2025:

  • Monday, September 15, Similkameen Recreation Centre, 311 – 9th St., Keremeos
  • Wednesday, September 24, Osoyoos Town Hall, 8707 Main St., Osoyoos
  • Wednesday, October 8, Oliver Community Centre, 6359 Park Dr., Oliver
  • Tuesday, October 21, RDOS Building Inspection office, Unit B, 162 Vermilion Ave., Princeton
  • Wednesday, October 29, Eastgate Fire Protection Society Hall, 140 Airstrip Rd., Eastgate
  • More dates coming in spring 2026

RDOS pop-up offices will take place between noon and 6 p.m.

Resource material will be available, including FireSmart and emergency preparedness checklists, information about Voyent Alert! notifications, Emergency Support Services, curbside collection, and RDOS Recreation.

Refreshments, activity sheets, and copies of the RDOS newsletter will also be available.
