With heartfelt sadness the family of William (‘Bill’) Roberts announces his peaceful passing, on January 29th, 2025, at the age of 72.

Born in Wells, BC, he spent his formative years in Oliver, a place he dearly loved. Eventually he settled in greater Vancouver, where he enjoyed a long, fulfilling career with Providence Health. He left in 2009 following a stroke, taking with him fond memories of his co-workers.

Bill worked hard to recover and was able to maintain his independence until a second stroke in 2019, when he became a resident of George Derby Centre.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mabel Roberts, sister Annabelle Macandrew and brother Roy Roberts. He is survived by sisters Fran White and Irene Covey and his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill was a real ‘people person’ in the best sense. His other loves included music, plants, animals and food. His sense of humour was infectious. He will be missed.
