
Ronald Joseph Gaston Ethier
August 21, 1954 – October 19, 2024
Ronald Joseph Gaston Ethier, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on October 19th surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Prince Albert, SK on August 21st, 1954, Ron was the eldest son of Gaston Ethier and Marie (nee Chenier) Ethier. He was predeceased by his father, Gaston Ethier, his mother, Marie Ethier (Saltel) and his sister-in-law, Cathy Ethier.
Ron was a man of many talents and accomplishments, there is nothing he could not do. Throughout his life, he worked as an electrician, owned and operated a gas station, owned a backhoe business and founded the trades company currently operating as Superior Trades.
Ron enjoyed traveling, people, and music. He was always the life of the party. He was also a dedicated member of the Elks for 13 years, where he always generously volunteered his time, serving Sunday meals in particular.
Ron will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his willingness to help others, and his beautiful creative spirit. He was always available to lend a hand, fix a problem, or share a thoughtful idea. His love for good food and company always brought joy to those around him.
Ron is survived by his loving partner, Veronica Eadie, her daughter Maddie; his children, Colin Ethier (Erin Lemiski) and Tessa Ethier; his grandchildren, Sawyer Ethier, Dominic Ethier, Asa Greening, and Sage Greening; and his siblings, Donald Ethier (Cathy McGavin), Lloyd Ethier, and Elie-Anne Ethier (Ron Mapson).
A memorial service will be held on November 3rd, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Elks Lodge in Oliver BC.
Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
