July 19, 1937 – April 13, 2024

Janet Whiteman, aged 87, of Oliver, BC, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 13th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Janet was a devoted wife to Edward, and loving mother to her two sons, Michael (Helen) and Jeffrey, stepchildren Ronnie (Sheldon), Karen (Dave), and aunt to niece Colleen and nephew Shawn. She adored her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends.

Janet was predeceased by her parents, William and Hazel Cranna, her sister, Carolyn Madge, and her brother, Donald Cranna.

She lived a long and fulfilling life, pursuing her passions for jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, cross-stitch, and sudoku with great enthusiasm. Her sharp wit and keen mind will be remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at the Cherry Grove Hall on Saturday, April 20th, at 1:00 PM.
