The “Yellow Brick Road Experience” returns to Venables Theatre to once again delight Elton John fans and convert a whole new set of fans.
The musical showcase has as its backbone, the musical artistry of Andrew Johns who commands the stage with his spot on piano and vocal skills and gives a stage performance that will take you back to Elton John in his prime.
“Andrew’s captivating presence, dazzling costume transformations, and powerful vocals – delivered in the original keys – bring Elton’s music to life with authenticity and charm,” says the show’s promoter Mike Schell.
Johns will be on stage with his band, The Jets, with full horn section comprised of nine horn players, playing all the hits in the original keys as performed by Elton John.
Take a trip down memory lane as Andrew Johns & The Jets relive all the greatest hits in this dynamic tribute featuring some of North America’s finest session and touring musicians, including four time Juno award winner and Canada’s Walk of Fame recipient, Julie Masi from the Parachute Club.

Elton John sold over 250 millions records worldwide as well as holding the world record for biggest selling single of all time with Candle In the Wind. His timeless musical catalogue will be celebrated including hits such as “Yellow Brick Road”, “Burn down the mission”, “Your Song”, “Crocodile Rock” and many more.
Schell notes that last year’s show was a sell-out with rave reviews and lots of questions of when the show will return.
