Team BC brought home the bronze medal at the 2024 National Women’s U18 Championship held in Quispamsis, New Brunswick from Nov. 3-9.
Osoyoos’ Danica Maynard, Team BC’s captain was named the Top Defender at the championship and was among the top points earners with five assists in six games.

With five assists in six games, Danica Maynard was honoured as the “Top Defender” of the championship.
Team BC started out the championship with a win over Manitoba 4-3, followed by a win over Ontario Blue 4-3 before taking a loss at the hands of Quebec 1-0. The BC women went on to win against Alberta 6-1, before losing in the semifinal against Ontario Red 4-1. The final on Saturday, Nov. 9 saw BC win against Saskatchewan 4-2.
