Osoyoos Fire Rescue said on social media that it had responded to a structure fire in the 4000 block of Cedar Lane today (July 22).
Crews suppressed the fire and it was held to the property of origin. “Our thoughts are with the family who has been displaced from their home due to the fire,” the department said. No injuries were reported.
“We appreciate the public’s assistance during our response and fire suppression efforts. As you can imagine, working during this heat can be exhausting on our crews. We want to thank our volunteer paid-on-call professionals for their work today.”
