The Pattison Food Group has announced that Buy-Low Foods in Osoyoos will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5 and open their doors at 8 a.m. the next day as Save-On-Foods.

Grand opening celebrations start on Thursday, June 6 and continue all weekend with sale prices and in-store specials. Customers who spend a minimum of $50 between June 8 and June 19 can enter a draw to win a $500 gift card with the winner announced on June 20.

In a media release, the company said customers can expect “the same level of exceptional service they’ve grown accustomed to in Osoyoos as the same great team members continue to work in this store.”

It also said the conversion to the Save-On-Foods brand will bring “more ways to save” on the grocery bill and will bring new products and services associated with the Save-On-Foods brand.

These include:

  • Darrell’s Deals, which offer customers a discount on one of company president Darrell Jones’ favourite products each week;
  • My Offers digital coupons, which customers can load straight to their More Rewards cards via the Save-On-Foods app or on saveonfoods.com;
  • Hundreds of Western Family-branded goods;
  • Online shopping, where customers can select curbside pickup a time convenient to them (starting June 13).

“This is a very exciting time for our team and our community,” said Kelly Lopes, store manager. “We can’t wait to provide even more options to our customers and we think they are going to love what they find in store.”

“The Okanagan Valley is a vibrant and growing region of British Columbia,” said Darrell Jones, president of parent company Pattison Food Group. “We are thrilled to bring the Save-On-Foods banner to Osoyoos, giving our friends and neighbours the same outstanding service with the extra value of new products and promotions you can only find at Save-On-Foods.”

Save-On-Foods Osoyoos is located at 3-9021 Main Street and is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the fall, winter and spring seasons, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the summer season.
