She enjoyed traveling to warm destinations, cherished time spent at Mabel Lake with family and friends as well as treasured date nights at The Osoyoos Bridge with Tom. Dena found immense joy in hearing about her grandkids’ adventures and successes and relished moments spent visiting with friends and watching her grandchildren play. She embraced life’s simple pleasures, such as calm peaceful afternoons, holiday seasons (especially decorating) and keeping up with everyone’s lives.
Throughout her life, Dena’s career was defined by her dedication to nursing. She faithfully served at Sagebrush Lodge and Mariposa for over 35 years, making a profound impact on the lives of those she cared for.
