Beverly Ann Holden (nee Realff)

February 26, 1938 -
March 12, 2023

On Sunday, March 12th, mom passed on to be with her Lord and Saviour.  Bev is survived by her loving husband Dr. Reverend Ronald Holden; daughter Cindy Poppy (Rocky), granddaughter Zoe; son Andrew Holden and granddaughters Hannah Volansky (Kyle and great grandson Griffin), Sarah, and Leah Slaunwhite (Jacob); daughter Jill (Rodney), grandson Jonah and granddaughter Bethany.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was raised by a loving mom and surrounded with doting grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Our parents met because Dad had a weekly radio ministry show and needed a pianist. The church family in Sherbrooke, Quebec introduced them, and they quickly fell in love and married on September 10th, 1960. Mom was an accomplished pianist and greatly loved music; this made her the perfect complement to dad and together they ministered at many churches throughout Canada.

Mom was also a noted obstetric nurse in Sherbrooke and Montreal, Quebec, and St. John’s, New Brunswick, prior to her retirement in Osoyoos, BC in 1993. While in Osoyoos, she performed many volunteer roles.

Our mom shone brightly wherever she went and will be forever remembered for her quick wit, rambunctious smile, and generous compassion.

Mom suffered from Alzheimer’s disease for the last 10 years and the family would like to express our sincerest appreciation to Mariposa Gardens in Osoyoos for their gentle care.

At mom’s request, there will not be a funeral.
