Silvia Albrecht, 73, of Osoyoos, BC passed peacefully away on January 17^th at Oliver General Hospital.

Silvia was born on September 25^th, 1949 to Rudy & Alice Albrecht in Bern, Switzerland. After graduating in Olten, Switzerland, she moved to Banff in 1976.

In 1991, Silvia met Fritz Schuepbach at the Banff Springs Hotel. They moved to Canmore where they lived and operated a Bed and Breakfast, welcoming guests from around the world.

In 2008, Silvia moved to Osoyoos where she & Fritz ran their Bed & Breakfast on Anarchist Mountain.

Silvia is survived by her partner Fritz, relatives in Switzerland, her brother Max Albrecht, Erika Jacob, Christian Jacob, Hoesli Beat, Miriam Stooss and Trudi Stooss. Silvia has numerous extended family, friends and guests that she made through working in the ski industry in the Bow Valley and the Okanagan.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1:00 – 6:00 pm at the Schuepbach/Albrecht residence, 1175 Highway 3 East, Osoyoos, BC.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local S.P.C.A, an organization which supports animals and in particular her love of cats.
