On December 8^th, 2022 Mr. James Gerling Richards passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver, B.C. at the age of 81 years.

He is predeceased by his parents, Bob (Jan 2004) and Lil (Jan 1990) Richards.

James is survived by his wife Linda, and sons Michael (Heather) and Mark (Pegi); brothers Dick (Kay), Ross (Linda), Doon (Pat), Jack (Dorothy) and, Bruce (Sherry); 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

James spent his working years with the Highways Department in the 1970’s and early 1980’s as Bridge Manager before moving from Victoria to Kelowna in 1984 and then to Oliver in 1997 where he worked for Argo Road Maintenance as Operations Manager.
