The family of Helmut Hartman (Ham), of Osoyoos, B.C., is saddened to announce that Ham passed away at Mariposa at the age of 85 years on November 3, 2022. He is predeceased by his parents Nathaniel and Adeline Hartmann and by his brother Otto.

Ham is lovingly remembered by his twin daughters, Tina and Tracey Wagner of Chugiak, Alaska, his granddaughter Alaina Lauchart of Anchorage, Alaska, his brothers Ernest (Rose) of Penticton, Richard (Nancy), and Ewald (Mavis) both from Osoyoos, B.C .and many nieces and nephews.

He emigrated from Germany and moved to B.C., Canada, with his parents and brothers in 1952. Ham worked in the logging industry and retired in March 2002. Ham enjoyed good walks and visiting friends along the way, going to trap shoots, hunting, golfing and playing a game of pool with friends. Ham touched many lives through the years with his jovial personality and he will be deeply missed by all.

There will be no funeral service. Everyone can celebrate Ham’s life in their own special way.
