The Trick or Treat Main Street event returned this Halloween with kids of all ages excitedly moving from business to business up and down Osoyoos’ Main Street on Monday afternoon.
Organized by the Osoyoos Credit Union (OCU) with the participation of Main St. businesses the event drew a significant crowd of children with parents in tow.
The OCU also organized a pumpkin carving competition earlier in the week and also on Monday held a Halloween costume competition.
Halloween festivities continued in the evening and night with the Town putting on a Haunted House at Desert Park, the Osoyoos & District Arts Council putting on a Trunk or Treat event using parked cars at the same venue. And of course trick or treaters made their way through Osoyoos’ neighbourhoods collecting candy.
