On Friday March 11, 2022, Mrs. Leota Lorraine Hyslop (nee Johnson) passed away peacefully at Mariposa Gardens after a long illness with her loving husband of 62 years, Bob Hyslop by her side at the age of 83 years.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Jane; son-in-law, Randy; parents, Dorothy and Ted Johnson and sister, Sharon.

Leota will be fondly remembered by her loving family including husband, Bob; sister, Linda (Jim); brothers-in-law, John and Doug; sister-in-law, Celia; niece, Cindy as well as great-nephews and nieces.

Leota worked with her husband as a bookkeeper at his consulting company and was a member of St. Aiden’s Presbyterian Church.

She enjoyed antiquing, collecting, sewing, knitting, costuming and travelling which included trips to California, Arizona, Mexico and many trips to Hawaii.

The family would like to offer a sincere special thank you to Dr. M. A. de Vries and the caring staff at Mariposa Gardens.
