On February 3, 2022, Mrs. Shirley Lorene Brown of Oliver passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family at the age of 86 years.She was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Brown and her daughter Deborah Brown.Shirley is survived by her sons Doug, Stephen (Dianne) and, daughter Lorene; grandchildren James, Sarah, Peter, and, Jordyn and great-grandchildren Georgia and Ama. Shirley was a telephone operator with BC telephone for many years.She loved to travel all over the world with her husband Bob. They were also members of the local Royal Canadian Legion. Shirley enjoyed bird watching, sewing, cooking, making wine and, sampling along the way. She loved hummingbirds and playing cards with the ladies.Donations are accepted for the Canadian Cancer Society.
