Ricky Holz was born July 1, 1967 in Oliver, BC. Jokingly he would say they have a parade and fireworks for him on his birthday. He passed away unexpectedly from Covid on October 3, 2021 at the age of 54.

Ricky is now taking comfort being with his mom and dad, Diane and Johnny Holz.

He is survived by his family, Liz and their sons Keenen and Levi; brothers Dale (Cheryl) and Jerry (Lisa) and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Rick grew up playing hockey competitively and continued his passion for the game through coaching and proudly watching his boys play hockey. He also enjoyed fishing and had a fond memory of sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River with Keenen, Levi and his best friend Jim Simpson.

Rick had many close friends, a kind personality with a great sense of humour that would light up any room.

He will be dearly missed by everyone who loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with an announcement made prior.
