A two-vehicle collision on Highway 97 north of Oliver this afternoon sent at least one person to hospital.
Firefighters, police and ambulance were called to the crash near Gallagher Lake Frontage Road after 2 p.m. It appeared that a white Ford truck and a silver car collided.
At least one adult male, still conscious, was loaded onto a stretcher and taken into an ambulance. The severity of his injuries is unknown.
Traffic was stopped in both directions as emergency responders secured the scene.
