May 15, 1929 – June 8, 2021

On Tuesday, June 8, 2021, Mrs.

Patricia Tekla Mary Unger of Oliver

passed away peacefully at her

home at the age of 92 years.

She was predeceased by first husband

Jack Gordon Mullin; sister

Theresa Gerrie and parents William

Raymond Kehoe and Lena

Kehoe.

Pat will be fondly remembered by

her loving family including husband Peter Unger; children

Marti Bridge (Terry), Michael Mullin (Shelly), Ginnie Barre

(Ed) and Jack Mullin; her loving stepchildren as well as her

beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was

also a very special sister-in-law, aunt and adored good friend.

Patricia enjoyed a long thirty-year career with Austin Metal

in Burnaby and long after retirement was still in contact with

Bill and Don.

She enjoyed many great family trips to Shuswap Lake and a

once in a lifetime trip to Germany with Peter.

Pat was a treasured volunteer and board member of the SOACIL.

She worked tirelessly to help improve the lives of all

clients of the association.

If you have ever driven by Pat and Peter’s home in May and

June, you would never forget it. The gardens were a passion

of both of them for years.

Our lives without Pat will go on, but her absence will leave us

forever with a void.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at a later date once restrictions

loosen up.
