Evangelina Santos Pacheco passed away peacefully on Sunday May 23 2021, after

a brief illness at Sunnybank Centre.

Evangelina is survived by her 3 children, Ana Hext, Lilita (Niels) Svenningsen and

George (Lisa) Pacheco; eight grandchildren, Amie (Paul)

Schaffrick, Jayne (Spencer) Hext, Kyle (Brieanne) Hext, Micheal Petronio, Marco

(Christianne) Petronio, Hailey Svenningsen and Kyle & Kiran Kant; two great-grandchildren, Cody Schaffrick

and Maude Petronio as well as many extended family and friends.

Evangelina was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Jaime Pacheco in January 2019 as well as sisters

Bernardina & Maria Santos. Evangelina was born to Fransico & Ana Santos on

December 2, 1934.

Evangelina loved to garden, cook and bake. She was famous for her fresh homemade bread, which everyone

loved. She crocheted, loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also baby-sat for

many family and friends while they worked. She enjoyed going for coffee at the Seniors Centre, with friends and

card nights with family and friends in their later years Our Mother was a kind, loving woman, we called her our

Angel on earth. She is now an Angel in Heaven. We love you Mom & will miss you forever.

A private family funeral mass was celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by interment and

committal at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.
