December 23, 1929 – April 27, 2021

On Tuesday, April 27,

2021, Mr. Charlie Goertzen

of Oliver passed away

peacefully at the Penticton

Regional Hospital at the

age of 91 years. He was

predeceased by his parents

Peter and Sarah Goertzen;

sister Helen and brothers

Pete, Jake, Gary and Ike.

Charlie will be fondly remembered

by his loving

family including wife Edna; daughter Cindy; son

Rob (Roo); grandchildren Curtis (Karen), Kyle,

Taylor (Catherine), Darian (Adam), Emily, Garrett

and Ruben; ten great-grandchildren; three

great-great-grandchildren; brother John; sisters

Nettie and Maggie as well as many extended family

and friends.

Charlie drove truck for Texaco, then Esso for

many years as well as working as an orchardist.

He enjoyed trips to China, Thailand, many trips

back to Alberta, Saskatchewan and the coast, gardening,

sports and was a member of the Alliance

Church.

Charlie especially enjoyed spending time with his

family. He was the kindest person and would do

anything for anyone.

The family would like to thank the nurses and

doctors at the Penticton Regional Hospital for the

excellent care and love they provided Charlie.
