December 16, 1934 – April 13, 2021

On Tuesday, April 13, 2021,

Mrs. Jean Teresa Maria

MacDonald of Osoyoos passed

away peacefully with her family

by her side.

She was predeceased by her

mother Greta; father Chuck and

brothers Alan and Brian.

Jean will be fondly remembered by her loving husband

Norman of 53 years; children Mike (Sandra), Darcy

(Ruth), Linda (Shaune) and April (Mel); grandchildren

Erick, Matthew (Amy), Nicholas, Brody, Jordan, Emily

and Sarah as well as extended family and friends.

Over the years, Jean worked at the Swedish Press from

1954 – 1959, McGavin’s Bakery from 1959 – 1967

and Sunnybank Centre from 1978 until her retirement

in 1999. She was also a loving mommy and wife from

1963 – 2021.

In her early years she traveled throughout Sweden with her

mom and sister Carole. Jean was a master of canning and

making preserves for the winter months. She loved doing

crosswords, knitting and in her later years, colouring her

many works of art.

Special thanks to the nursing, recreation, housekeeping

and dietary staff at Mariposa Gardens for the amazing

care and compassion given to Mom over the past 7 years.

It will be forever remembered by her family.
